Communications workflow platform Whispir (ASX: WSP) continues to execute its North American market strategy, appointing a US-based Vice President, securing a reseller agreement with an industry leader and strengthening its collaboration with AWS.

Vice President Americas appointed

Whispir has appointed highly experienced executive, Mr Peter Gehl as Vice President Americas. Mr Gehl brings more than 20 years’ experience in the enterprise software market in North America with previous senior leadership positions at Salesforce, Oracle and Kenshoo among others. As Whispir’s VP Americas, Mr Gehl will oversee the execution of all aspects of Whispir’s North American strategy.

Whispir CEO Jeromy Wells said, “Peter’s extensive North American and international experience in SaaS and PaaS organisations will be invaluable as we continue our North American growth strategy. “We are fortunate that we’ve been able to secure an executive of Peter’s calibre who has been at the forefront of enterprise software companies in both corporate and start-ups environments for more than two decades. He has successfully increased revenue and profitability for these organisations with effective go-to-market and business development strategies.

“During his time at Salesforce and Oracle, Peter oversaw market development and strategy, revenue growth and profitability as well as global sales partnerships. His established sales networks, market insights and technical capability will be an enormous asset to our North American team, enabling us to accelerate our aspirations in that market.”

Reseller partnership with Carahsoft

Whispir continues to expand its channel partnerships, entering a reseller agreement with leading US Government sector IT solutions provider, Carahsoft Technology.

An aggregator and distributor of hardware, software and support solutions for US federal, state and local government agencies, Carahsoft is one of the most successful technology providers in the US with annual revenue in excess of US$5 billion.

Carahsoft provides tailored technology solutions to meet the specific needs of government departments through its partner ecosystem of technology vendors, resellers and system integrators. “Our partnership with Carahsoft enables Whispir to cost-effectively target the US public sector at scale. Whispir’s communications workflow platform is ideal for government customers as it can be used to solve thousands of communications challenges and integrates with existing IT systems,” Mr Wells said.
