Send targeted messages by location using geofencing

Whispir Maps module allows organisations to easily locate and communicate with their audience using geofencing to target communications based on their location.

How Whispir Maps module works

Visually display and target all in-platform information including contacts, users, distribution lists and regions. Combine with other external data sources such as social media, RSS, Geo-RSS and XML for a truly unified, location based messaging solution.

Easily define your geofence regions

Whispir uses a standard based Open Layers mapping solution with Google Maps tiles to allow message authors to define the target area for a message. Build distribution lists by drawing polygons over map locations and store the selection to save time for future messaging.

Maps powerful features allow you to:

  • View the location of key stakeholders based on their GPS location
  • Use a location to target communications. Simply locate people within a nominated area and send them a message
  • Identify towns, localities or key infrastructure based on geographic data
  • Contact members of Distribution Lists with fixed locations
  • Define a map with a geofence (circle or polygon)
  • Locate an address, pan and zoom the map
  • View and update sent messages
